not getting pelvic checks
I'm 32 weeks and am considering refusing pelvic checks . I have to have a c section and I've never dilated with my other 2 kids . Not to mention you can be 1cm and go into labor or be 4cm for a month it's no indication of labor and is a risk of infection. Has anyone else done this?
I'm 30w5d and if they ever want to check me, I'll also refuse. Unless there is an emergency and yeah.
I never had any pelvic checks until I was definitely in labor. My doctor never even offered or tried to do them. If you're going to have a csection anyways I don't see the point. Why go through all that pain and discomfort for nothing?
