nursery rhymes and lullaby's

I love singing to my babies but I hardly ever know all the words so I just repeat the same verse over and over again, lol. Just wondering what everyones favorites were and if you could post them with all the words:-) My favorite is "you are my sunshine" I dont know any of the words past the 2nd verse, so if anyone can post the words for me that would be great. I think Taylor and Dalton are getting tired of hearing the same thing over and over again:-)

I just wanted to add that I can't always sing to my daughter because she will dance if she hears something even RESEMBLING music most of the time.....she has to be REALLY almost asleep to sing to her or she'll jump up and start dancing. Sigh, LOL

my personal fave is a little off the beaten path...it's called "lullaby" By Ben Folds Five (you can youtube it) and when it's sung without music it's simply beautiful and peaceful...my daughter loves it and hums along until she drifts off :). It's basically a song to his son about a dream he used to dream and I <3 it :)

Rock-a-bye baby, Hush, little baby,but your kids might be a little too old for those. Um,  
I found a site that has a list of lullabies and lyrics. It's lullabies.    adoption.    com there's no www in front of it just the http:// it's got a lot on it, there's sleep ones, sing-a-longs, and ones for crying babies...oh just in case you can't find it under the site I wrote, try just going to adoption ******* (. instead of dot) and going to the section "library" and lullaby is under library.

This is great! I have an old song that we would sing for cheerleading that I have changed the names and I sing to my kids.
I love you "kids name" oh yes I do

sometimes you do not want to know all of the words.  I decided to look them up and found some scary ones, like "how much is that doggie in the window".  not a nice story at all!

Oh ya... this is another favorite lullaby by Billy Joel... its called "Goodnight my Angel" and its a book too! It was my daughters favorite bedtime story... we would read/sing the book together... My son is starting to really like it too!
