Benadryl while pregnant?

Good Morning,

I have a question. I went on a cleaning frenzy yesterday and this morning, I wake up feeling awful.. Headache, sneezing, coughing.. I think I may have been exposed to some black mold. I am allergic and my eyes are a little swollen and i have a killer headache. I tried to get on ask  . com to find out whether or not Benadryl is safe to take, but my computer kept freezing up and wouldn't go to the website.. Can I take Benadryl?

I am also stressing b/c I am out of sick time and am worried my employer will be upset, but I feel like C R A P!

yes benadryl is fine....and actually some docs recommend it during pregnancy as a sleep aid.

My OB said it is ok.  I had hives for the first three weeks that I was pregnant and the doc said that Benadryl is safe.

Benedryl is safe in pregnancy, just limit your intake.  This is according to my list of approved OTC meds from my Dr.  I have had to take it attimes with all of my pg due to allergys.  Hope you feel better.
