only 66 days to go

JUst found out today that because of all the complications my doctor wants to schedule my c section for the day I hit 37 weeks. Only 66 days to go. Im nervous and excited. At the last ultrasound my baby girl was weighing a little more than 2 lbs. Im very glad I got the steroids to help develop her lungs. Has anyone else had a c section that early. I know baby is technically full term but I also know that baby isnt always better off coming that early

I had my daughter via c-section at 37w5d because she was breech and I began to dilate. I did have the steroids with her at 33w and she came just fine at 6lb 11oz and 19in.

Well I got the steroids for her lungs a couplee days ago and im just afraid becausr my body keeps trying to go into labor

I had my son at 36w1d and he was in the nicu for a week. He just came home today. Sometimes baby has to come early due to complications, etc. just find a hospital with a good nicu staff just in case of an emergency.

Was he able to go home with you or did he have to stay at the hospital?

I had my son at 36 wks. had steriods at 28 weeks. he was 100% fine
