honestly, even people here in the US is still very lucky.. here in the Philippines, theres no wic or food stamps or social assistance.. if you dont have money, then sorry but youre gonna be homeless..i pity most families here.. if they got pregnant and dont have money, they have to give birth at home..no prenatal vitamins, no check ups, no ultrasound.. if you have the money, then you can have the option to have a doctor, you can deliver in a decent hospital and your baby can be taken care of.. schools here are also awful..i saw a 5th grader who cant even create a sentence..im lucky my parents raised me in California..

I dont live in the UK, I live in canada and no I dont have to pay for prescriptions, doctors visits, ambulance rides, glasses/contacts and dental stuff... bt only because im a treaty aboriginal, other canadian citizens get theirs paid for by their jobs or welfare.

@rprlove do you still need to pay for prescriptions? I thought they stopped that everywhere in the uk? I am glad we have the NHS even though we still have a grump about it we are very lucky
I feel lucky with the healthcare we have here too, like we have free doctors visits and what not usually only have to pay for prescriptions which is usually covered by our jobs or social assistance. Im treaty so I get all my healthcare for free.

I find this app so interesting! Like ive learnt loads about different countries care sysyems! Were pretty lucky over here if im honest! Sometimes im cautious to comment though cos a comment can come across negative even when its non intended! Am i the only one who feels like that? :)
