pads?

What type of menstral/sanitary napkin are good for after birth? I no the blood flow will be much heavier ftm and having a tough time cracking this question.

i used tena pants they were the best & no leaking x

I use cloth pads because I have allergic reactions to all regular pads. I buy my pads from treehuggers.com you wash them and reuse them no stains or anything. They have postpartum pads that are great and you change the pad like you would any other kind. They have little snaps to hold on to your underwear

Long overnight extra absorbancy ones. Any brand will work but I prefer the infinity because it's less bulky

So the hospital will have like super duper maxi pads that are so big they mind as well be called a diaper lol. Use those for the first few days, and take as many home with you as you can. After I ran out of those I used the Tampax Always super overnights (the orange ones) and they worked fine for me. They cover a good amount of space and do actually hold a lot, but they're still thin enough that its not super noticeable or irritating. The hospital pads bothered me because they were super bulky and I could always feel them where as the tampax pads I could sometimes forget about. Wear what you feel best! Try different brands but I personally liked those. Good luck (:
