you're very welcome!!! ((:
Thank you so much octobermommy2014... !!!!!! That makes more sense. Ok. Wow.....
@Karina517: that's awesome! I'm curious what my OB goes by now.. maybe I'll ask thursday just for the heck of it! lol
Lol yeah @octobermommy2014 I was going crazy about it ! My husband had no clue and well I just asked my doctor and gave me a chart :)
yayyy! lol I've never even asked my OB - all I know is.. I'm NOT pregnant for 10 months, I'm due Oct. 24th, and I'm currently 22w3d. her or her nurse have never gone by months.. they always use weeks & days.. so I guess I'm just used to that! ((:
Yup @octobermommy2014 is right ! I was having a lot of trouble with the weeks and months so I asked my doctor to explain it to me and he gave me that same chart !!
4w=1m
8w=2m
12w=3m
16w=4m
20w=5m
24w=6m
28w=7m
32w=8m
36w=9m
40w=10m
hmm, there's only EXACTLY 4 weeks in the month of February (7 days x 4 weeks = 28 days), every other months has 2-3 extra days.. sooo this is the chart I use:
First Trimester
1-4 weeks= 1 month
5-8 weeks= 2 months
9-13 weeks= 3 months
Second Trimester
14-17 weeks= 4 months
18-21 weeks= 5 months
22-26 weeks= 6 months
Third Trimester
27-31 weeks= 7 months
32-35 weeks= 8 months
36-40 weeks= 9 months
the easiest way I can explain it is: I conceived approximately Jan 31-Feb 1, and I'm due Oct. 24th.. sooooo...
let's just use Jan 31 to Sept 24th = 8 months.. add the extra 24 days of Oct & the few extra days along the way & it equals 9 months & 1 weeks or so.
no, we're not pregnant for 10 months. if that were the case, I wouldn't be due until NOVEMBER! lol
I found this chart on a few different google searches & I've seen a few different women post this being the chart their OB uses.. it really doesn't matter - I just use my weeks instead of months to not have confusion! lol some people start at their due date, which they consider their 9th month, and just count back a month on that day.. so I'm 9 months on Oct. 24th, 8 months on Sept. 24th, etc.
either way you want! lol (((:
How is it more? You do know there's 4 weeks in 1month right? So all you gotta do is add 4
Thnx.... but it cant be that.4weeks is a month... its a bit more than that...
4w=1m
8w=2m
12w=3m
Etc...
