pain while having bowel movement, normal?

I'm 35 weeks. Every time I poop I get these excruciating sharp pains in abdominal area. Normal?

If you have a lot of gas buildup it can cause pressure pain when you push. It could also be how your uterus is positioned-it could be pinching part of your intestine. Drink plenty of water and eat high fiber foods.

It is the pushing to get the poop out. It is pretty much normal, just poop pains.
