Nearly impossible..like was mentioned, you would have to conceive right on the heels of the first conception and it would have to be from eggs released at or around the same time, which is rare in itself. Once you're pregnant, your body no longer releases eggs so there would be nothing for the sperm to impregnate...but during that first window during which the egg/eggs have been released and before the sperm meet the egg, implant, and signal the body to stop ovulating..it's TECHNICALLY possible.
At this point, though, no chance. so no worries :-).
I've heard people getting pregnant with twins & the babies having different dads, & I don't have a clue how that works.
Not in that case. You can have two eggs fertialized in one cycle at different times. Therefore it's possible for twins to have different fathers.
You can but you have less than a (i believe) 60 hr window. I do have a friend who has two 6 yr old boys. They thought they were twins.... But NO. She (later we found out) cheated on her husband and was pregnant with two babies at once by 2 differant men. They did DNA when the boys were a yr old and 2 differant DNA's..... Baby A was her husbands Baby B was her "lovers". Very messed up situation but it is possible.....
It's a very rare occurence. So rare many people dont know about it. You can hyper ovulate. If you were trying to get pregnant during your ovulation time you could ovulate twice and the sperm, since it lives for nearly a week, could fertilize 2 eggs with the gestation age a week apart.
Since most people are trying to get pregnant at this time, when they find out they're pregnant it looks like twins until they date the pregnancys.
I mean once a mucus plug forms sperm wouldn't be able to get to an egg and I imagine that only takes a few days although I don't know for sure but I've never heard of someone getting pregnant while they were already pregnant.
Not unless you hyper ovulate which means both sides drop an egg. But even then baby's are usually only days apart not months.
