pets?

Hey everyone! I am about 5 weeks pregnant, I have a ferret and was wondering what concerns I should have with that situation(baby and animals). I've heard both good and bad answers... Just don't know what to believe.

Can't believe everything you read on the Internet. Googling will only cause stress and false information, I would personally ask your Dr and a vet on how a ferret may behave with a baby

Ferrets are actually illegal in many places when you have small children. Ive watched a few documentaries where kids have lost fingers, toes, half their face, ect due to ferrets. I would do research online.

íts good to have pets, babies/children brought up with pets have been shown to have less allergies than those bought up in a pet free home, in saying that while pregnant I would wear gloves when cleaning out the litter box etc, and just watch your ferret around baby when it arrives because as you probably know they can chomp hard !  :)

I personally am not for sure, this may be something you want to discuss with your doc.
I know ferrets require alot of attention. I had 2 ferrets and between cleaning their cage and giving them baths and playing with them, it made me exhausted and I wasnt even pregnant then lol
