I'm 24 weeks and I'm starting work this Monday at a call center. I was upfront and told them I was pregnant in my interview. They still hired me because I already had call center experience and a good track record since I had worked there before too.
I do have a problem with pregnant women not notifying employers because even though I'm pregnant now a few years back I was the colleague that suffered when somebody was hired and did not say they were pregnant and then proceeded to take days off at a time all the time because of it which screwed over the entire account and department. It is unfair to the eemployer and employees so based on that I would always be honest with my employers.
I work at a frozen yourt shop as manager
I work with the Kroger company in aspen co.. at city market... im 2014 right now.. don't tell them Yur pregnant until yu get the job... then once yu have it... tell em oh I just found out... then there's nothing they can do about it but fallow the drs orders lol
I work for kroger too and actually got interviewed at 11 weeks. However I applied for starbucks. I was honest with them and got hired, and everyone was super welcoming. About 25 weeks now, and the employees help me with the heavy lifting at the end of the night :)
Bagging might be a little to strenuous for a pregnant girl, u need something easy like a cashier or associate it ***** bringing in those heavy carts every 5 minutes! Just a thought
No don't tell them. I didn't get hired (front desk) because I was pregnant.
Just because you don't tell them, doesn't mean you are lying, once you are hired, wait until they ask you to lift something and let them know you are pregnant. They cannot fire you, it is.discrimination. You can notify corprate and they can get in trouble,
I would tell them! It lets them know you can only do certain things, and aren't gonna lie to them.
No, they can't do that to you.
Do u think ill get fired wen I start showin
Wait until after you are hired.
