If I have a girl I will more likely do it around two months just after there shots :)
There are some places that use a strong surgical plastic so they are allergen free. Where I work we have the gold and the plastic.
Wal-Mart will do them at 4 weeks with proof of first shots
If I have a little girl I will so get it done but going to need to get gold ones. I'm so sensitive to anything other than gold. My mom gave me sterling silver earing once and they blew up the size of gold balls. :(
Okay thanks i plan to do it at 2 months but I'm going to feel so bad when she cries :(
Both of my daughters ears was pierced after their 2 months shots so at about 3months... I got them pierced a Claire's and they only pierce them if baby has had their 2 months shots..
Where I live they have to be 8 weeks old and have their first set of shots. I got my daughters ears pierced at 8 weeks old at the mall. A place called the pagoda stand. I had the manager do it that's been piercing baby's ears for 10 years.
I wouldn't let some random teenager at claires pierce her ears.
It's better to do it when they're younger. I have mom's constantly tell me they wish they would have pierced their daughters ears when they were a couple months old...
The baby doesn't remember it even happened. My daughter cried for less than a minute and fell asleep right after.
I plan on asking my doc but I know piercing pagoda will do it at 2 months.
I got my ears pierced at 6 months.
My drs office does it and if I have a girl I'll be doing it at 6 months....but its all a matter of preference
