At first I repierced my eyebrow and had no problems beford first trimester was done. At around 22wks I tried to put it back in and it got really infect and i now have a very slight discoloration. I wouldnt advise it just bc the more dependent baby bcomes on your body, the more your body ignores protecting you for protecting it.

Its up to your whether to get pierced or not there are lots of do's and dont's to pregnancy all of which are precautions and most havent been tested to see if they cause any damage obviously if you choose to get it done just make sure your super careful with keeping it clean bathe it in salt water a few times a day I know many people that have had tattoos and piercing before they found out they were pregnant and their babies are fine

When I was about 15 weeks pregnant, my nose ring fell out and I went to go get it repierced. My body decided to focus more on the baby and it NEVER healed. So I had to take it back out and now I have four more weeks to go till I get it pierced again c:

A true professional (certified) piercer or tattoo artist will not tattoo or pierce a lady whose pregnant due to the high risk of infection

Your apparently only allowed facial piercings while pregnant.. Where were you thinking about getting pierced?

Some women get pierced and nothing happens but others get infections easily. I wanted to get my nose pierced as well while pregnant but since there's a higher risk for infection I decided to wait until after I give birth. It's all up to you momma! If it does get infected then take it out and let it heal and wait until after birth to get it re-done. Also take extra good care of it while it's healing to help prevent infection :)
