So I had an appointment today to hear the heart beat. For some reason, they f u c k e d it up and made a first time prenatal appointment. I've already had one! So they told me that there's nothing they can do and that I have to reschedule for another day. I was livid. I guess I'm just hormonal or something because I really wanted to cry. I just had my heart set on hearing the heart beat for the first time today :(

Yeah they should still be able to. I get mine done each appt and it literally takes a couple minutes. But I feel you because when I was supposed to be scheduled for the gender ultrasound they effed that up and so I went I thinking I would find out the gender, but instead I had to wait.

Every appointment I've been to they check they heart beat. My dr has a Doppler. I'd find a new doctor.

Yeah i had to switch too..that is dumb they could have let u hear the heartbeat..i would switch doctors..i heard the heartbeat at my first appointment...they just dont care

Eww, they should still be able to check it. It takes 2min. That's stupid. Is there someone else you can see? I recently switched clinics because of dumb stuff like that!

I thought every prenatal visit you listen to the heart beat. My OB does for both my pregnancy. I think it's suppose to be mandatory.

I was just too upset and I wanted to leave. I'm definitely going to be looking into another doctor. They seem too unprofessional to me. They could have scheduled me in, it takes like 10 minutes to set up and hear a heartbeat! I just wanted to get out of there. But glad to know I'm not the only one that thinks it's ridiculous :)

At my first prenatal appointment they checked the heart beat and I have heard it every appointment since then. I would check into other doctors, they don't sound very nice.

Thats effd up! I would have demanded to hear the heart beat givin it was thier mistake not yours
