please answer me...

First, excuse my english. I am 14 weeks pregnant. My las period was on October around the 15th. I took 2 pregnancy tests as soon as I missed my period and they were negative. I didn't pay too much a attention to that and I waited until I missed my period again on November and then the 2 test I took were positive.
I went to my Doctor January the 9th and i told him when was my LMP and he did an ultrasound and he said that I was 8 weeks and 3 days. I told him that my LMP was on october and he said that my count did not convinced him, that as per his ultrasound I was 8 weeks and 3 days. Now my stomach is too big for the time he says I have. So I don't know, am confused. THere is know way am 11 weeks if my belly is this big. What do you think guy? Is it possible missing my period and not been pregnant? Because that is what I understand from my doctor. Please explain it to me.

It is very possible to get pregnant after "missing" one period. Basically, what probably happened, was that your ovulation was delayed for some reason that month (could be because of stress, exercise, etc), and that's why you didn't get your period when you were supposed to. But in reality, you didn't actually miss a period, it would have just been delayed because of the late ovulation.

Best of luck to you!

It is possible to miss a preiod for several reasons...stress alone or diet can do that . Perhaps, you really are only 8 wks. If he did an ultarsound and he saw a healthy bean then you shoudl be alright ...dates and numbers in pregnancies can be confuisng...what is most importnat is what they see on the screen during an u/s. You could have gotten pregnant right as your period was to begin and then it woudl not show positive for at least 10-12 days! So, that is why it was negative until the second period passed. I am sure all is fine...Hang in there! Your English is fine by the way! Just fine! Good luck!

Oh I see, I read your last 2 sentances wrong...well from my understanding if you didn't get your Period in November, how did you conceive that month? But than again, thats kind of what happened to me...and we never figured it out, so maybe it is possible..do you have an appointment to go back?

If your Doctor did an ultrasound and said you were 8 weeks than he should have seen a baby and a heartbeat, correct? Did he see either of these?
I had a similar situation...my LMP was Aug 22nd..missed my period in Sept and got a negative test. Missed my period in October and got a positive. Went to the doctors and they said I was only 8 weeks when I knew by my LMP and the way I was feeling that I was 12 weeks. But they insisted I was wrong. I ended up miscarrying 2 days later.

Why do you think that you still might not be pregnant. You had an ultrasound..was there anything there?
