I am doing a birth plan for my c section. Make sure you talk to you doctor about the different options of numbing medicine;if you can do skin to skin contact while they evaluate the baby; whether or not to use glue, staples or stitches,if you want sedatives after birth;husband can cut cord. There are a lot of options for c sections. There are a lot of templates and examples of c section birth plans online also.
I have a link in my journals to a template for one. For a c section you still should have one. Let them know if you're exclusively breastfeeding, who can be in the room. Circumsision or noy if you're having a boy. Can baby have a pacifier. There's more but I can't think of any. When I went into labor I forgot my birthplan at home I was really disappointed but my labor went just as I wanted. I ended up having to tell the doctors everything I wanted while there in labor.
Idk if you need one for a c-section bc I've never had one. But you probably just need to let them know if your doing anything with the placenta so they don't just get rid of it.
