tuna in a can is ok to eat, but only 3-4 times a week
ya i think the 3-4 servings is what is for seafood in general... and shouldnt be the same seafood... should be broken up with a variety of seafoods... but the tuna itself is no more than 2 servings...
Every doctor and nurse I've talked to said to keep it to 1-2 servings a week, and to avoid albacore. It's a bigger fish so the mercury levels are potentially higher. I get random cravings but just try to limit myself to a can a week.
Tuna is fine. The can tuna normally come from smaller fish so it's safe. But do avoid ordering big tuna steak that come from big size tuna fish due to the mercury level.
For my first pregnancy I ain't tuna a vomited. All over, ever since then I could not stand it. Now this pregnancy (my third) I sometimes crave for it....wow.
Wow I didn't know all that! I ate.all kinds of tuna all the time with my first two, I can honestly say I haven't ate it this pregnancy lol. Nothing's wrong with kiddos, nothing major happened during pregnancy thank God, but I suppose if you have the knowledge better safe then sorry right?!
i think they say the flaked light tuna in water is the "safest" and to avoid white and albacore tuna... 2 servings a week or no more than 300 grams...
tuna is fine.i ate it with all my babys
Hiya, my midwife told me that I shouldn't eat tuna more than 3-4 times a week. So its fine honey just don't eat it all the time.
