pregnancy complication

if you were diagnosed for having incompetent cervix with one pregnancy will that occur with the next pregnancy.  Would have to go on bedrest

Ps. My cervix was completly closed and long but st the tome tought it was a good idea to het it before or just in case it would shorten or open.

Yes... U are automatically considered high risk. I also lost a baby I lost him at 20 weeks. I am pregnant now 18 weeks and I got a cerclage at 15 weeks. I get progesteron shots every week and at times I wish I didn't get the cerclage because of the risk they are minimal but I also tought it would be good to help. All tough a lot of women just get the shot and go on bed rest. I am also on bed rest. So don't worry there is a lot of help for you i will admit its hard and scarry at times because you will be worried well at least I am. God bless you and wish you the best.

I was told I had an incompetent cervix with my pregnancy in 2005. I had a stillbirth with that pregnancy. I am currently 26 weeks pregnant wit my second baby and have a high risk pregnancy, I haven't gotten a cerclage but I go to the doctor every week n get a shot that's is supposed to stop pre term labor...

I think so, and that they probably will do a cerclage even if your not having issues yet. But youll probably be considered high risk for any peegnancy after the first
