pregnancy problems

I am almost 11 weeks pregnant and the last time my husband and I were intimate with each other it was painful for me.  I already have two children and this was never a problem in the past.  I checked with my finger to see if that hurt as well and was shocked to feel a bulge behind my cervix that was tender.  I have been cramping a lot lately also and I am very worried that I might be high risk.  My doctor appointment is at the end of the month but I think I should go sooner.  I am wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them and if anyone has some advice other than just to go see my doctor.  I plan to talk with him as soon as I can but is there something I can do to help minimize my chances of having a miscarriage.  I had one two years ago and it was very hard for me.  I really dont want that to happen again.

saw my doc today and he said everythings fine and there is nothing to worry about.  He also told me that my uterus is tilted downward so that was most likely the cause for pain and that my husband just needs to be a little more gentle.  We also got to see the baby today via ultrasound and it jumped around while we were watching so that was very exciting.

I think you need to speak to your doctor and once they check you out ask the doctor point blank why sex hurts you.

Sometimes it's just the extra bloodflow to the cervix, other times it can be that your just too tender/swollen in there. it happens.  GOOD LUCK
