I'm not a dr but I've been in a similar spot. I had some fertility issues a few yrs ago. Dr found 3 ovarian cysts 1 of which was precancerous. He told me that no dr would give clomid to a patient with history or cysts or pcos. I was told IVF was my only option. Luckily we got pregnant on our own so didn't have 2 do IVF. If I were you, I would ask my dr what he was thinking giving you clomid. Do an internet search on clomid and you will find out a whole bunch of info. Good luck
thenn tell me which medicine is used in pcos patients to regulate ovulation,,,what are the side effects of clomid???
I can't believe your dr gave you clomid if you hae pcos. Clomid is known to have a side effect of ovarian cysts and not reccommended if you have a history of ovarian cysts or pcos
hiii toymax,,,first of all thanx for ur response,,,i hd consultd a gynacologist and had been taking clomid for5 consecutive cycles till now,,and instead of this medicine norethisterone (primolut N) i took another medicine dhuphaston,,,,and nw my period is regular,,and the only problem is not conceiving,,ok then how far are you trying to conceiving??i hd heard that walking for 20 mins daily can make changes in pcos patients,,nw am trying dat also,,,,
We are on this same boat on this one except that i do not have thyroid. Do you see you menstration regularly cos i don't but some women with PCOS sees their af but i do not, not until with the help of norethisterone (primolut N). if you don't, try asking your gynecologist about the norethisterone, its used for 10days, after that u will bleed 3days after, then u can start with clomid. If its ur first time of clomid, ur gyne will ask you to start with 50mg first and see if u can ovulate. U will take clomid for 5days and after you go for test to check if u're ovulateing(on alternte days). If u ovulate, then your gyne will tell u when to TTC for you not to miss your chances. Cos for women, our chances are not for long. Good luck. Go ask ur doc about this and hear what he will say.
