pregnant and scared to have intercourse

Ok I am now 10 weeks pregnant and my husband and I are both afraid to do anything. This is our first pregnancy after trying to conceive for 6 years. Are we nuts? I was thinking maybe if I could pass the first trimester I will feel better about it. Anyone else had this issue before?

This is my second pregnancy and i feel the same way! I don't feel like having sex at all!!!  I remember when I was prego with my son it was kind of the same way in my first trimester. Then my sexdrive went really up. :)

I think it is normal to feel that way. I was scared too. Eventually we just did it and everything was fine.

Ok I'm gonna be really honest and real about my situation.  I've been put on "pelvic rest" and it's quite frustrating.  I guess my point is ya better get it while u can because it can change at any time. If ur doc doesn't have any concerns I would just go for it!

Once I hit 37 weeks, DH told me he wasn't comfortable doing anything until after the baby is born-the same thing happened last time. I'm ok with waiting...we'll both enjoy it more that way.

Perfectly normal.i think we all get anxious about it.we waited till second trimester.but since hubby seen scan and seen babs move etc.he is now afraid to have sex.my sex drive is so high now.im 33 going on 34 weeks.but he is afraid will hurt baby.told him make most of it now,as when babs come i be to tired.lol..so yeah hun dont panic you will get past that stage.think i may need to pounch on my hubby.lol..

I was scared but it was only b/c it weirded me out to do it. Eventually I had to just suck it up and do it. Especially when we were trying to get the baby out.

Sex isn't gonna do anything bad for the baby, if anything its good for the baby. But its understandable to want to wait till the second trimester, I was the same way, and they say its better in the second trimester anyway... Good luck and I hope you don't lose your sex drive. lol
