Hey ladies.... so for those of you who don't know what a BBW is its big beautiful woman. Also know, plus size. I a
happen to be a plus size woman. This is my very first time being pregnant. I was just curious if any mothers out here are plus size and how did being pregnant effect you? And labor and delivery....just was hoping for a few words.....

I'm BBW and this is my second pregnancy. I didn't start showing in my first til I was like 20 weeks but pregnancy and labor were smooth and uncomplicated. I gained 30lbs and I had a small baby even though I was huge! I lost the weight pretty fast but my waist is bigger than it was. Old navy is great for maternity clothes for BBW in my experience. Congrats!

I'm a BBW too!!! Lol..love that..;-) I'm preggers with my fourth and I've never been thin...I've never had issues with high blood pressure or gestational diabetes while pregnant..I feel it has a lot to do with your over all health if you will have problems with that..I'm very careful whilst preggers to eat healthy and walk..with my first I let myself eat whatever I wanted and I gained 55 lbs!!! Second n third I stayed @ 30 lbs..hoping to do the same this time too..its nor so easy to loose lots of weight after baby has come..I started a 16 with first..now a 20 starting with fourth!! But I have good pregnancies in spite of being bigger..;-)

Im pregnant with my third child.  I was curvy but still over weight when i got pregnant this time.   I believe over wieght by 45 lbs.   And my dr said that me being over weight when i got pregnant put me at a higher risk for gestational diabetes.   Im 29weeks and 2 days. And have been diagnosed with gestational diabetes.      I didnt watch what i ate or exercise with this pregnancy. So i would advise u do so.  Dont end up like me. Checking ur blood sugar 4 times a day. And charting everything u eat isnt fun.
