You sound like what i was going through. I got my period every 2-3 months, and my doctor diagnosed me with PCOS (polycytic ovary syndrome). I have minor outpatient surgery to correct the problem (camera to make sure tubes not blocked and small holes poked into my ovaries to help), and two months after surgery, we are expecting :) I was 25 when I was diagnosed in april, and now 26 so it may be something simple to fix.
have you discussed this with your GYN? from my understanding it is always possible to get pregnant, though it may be some what more of a challenge 4 u.
good luck
It is possible to get pregnant but your chances are significantly lower because you are only getting 2-3 chances a year (compared to most women that have 12-one period a month) to get pregnant it could take you years! The best thing to do is to get to a fertility doctor when you are ready to start trying and try Clomid or some medication that will make you ovulate on a monthly basis giving you a better chance to get pregnant. Good luck!
