Thanks!! I walk a good 8-10 miles the five days I work. So I know I'm getting the reccomended 30- and hour of exercise. I just don't want to be super big. I've been 130-140 pounds and I just remember looking into the mirror going in huge. Started drinking and partying I was 16-17 mind you and it disappeared. Can't tell you how but bam back down to where I was press baby 112. So I'm fine with gaining weight and keeping it I'd just rather be healthy weight!! Thanks everyone congratulations!! Sorry story here..^^

@ana1281 pregnancy will most likely change your body even if you do exercise. My body has never gone back to my cute little figure I had before my first baby. Your hips change and hormones are crazy. But you can start exercising now to reduce drastic changes, just start walking everyday for a mile or two and maybe take up yoga.

Whats if ur not doing any exercises since uve been prego. Would it effect my figure alot afterwards?  Im 26 weeks and ive never been told by my doc to exercise.  But I do want to make sure my figure doesn't change too after tge delivery.  My husband already has started to call me a round ball...teasingly but it bothers me.

To be honest I just walk my dog and clean the house.

However yoga would be a good routine to take up. Just make sure the routine you are doing is pregnancy friendly.  :)

I do multiple yoga routines off of YouTube and I also walk at least 1-2 miles a day. I am 5' and 115lbs before pregnancy and the weight looks a lot different when you are short and small framed so exercise is super important.

Squats. Lots of squats. Yoga on youtube is wonderful but be sure it is modified for your pregnant self, twists and back bends are not recommended. Be slow and mindful of your body while you stretch and keep a wider stance or use a chair to hold yourself up for any pose where you feel you may lose your balance.

Get a bignexercise ball and look up YouTube videos on how to use birthing ball, I also use the ball to hold myself doing squats. And I walk a lot. I've been lagging it the passed two weeks though I need to start again I'm 27+4
