Perfect thank you ladies! I was going to buy him a swaddler because it's so HOT and our upstairs get scorching! And we only have an ac in our room but it gets too cold to leave him in a onesie so I think I'll just use a recieving blanket since they are thinner :)

My son didn't like swaddle blankets because he's a squirmy guy, but they basically keep them tight and warm like they're in the womb, usually their arms are velcroed against their body so they feel comfy. And receiving blankets you can use for everything! I use them for throwing up, swaddling on a warm day, laying out if blankets are dirty, my son likes to play with the ones with designs so he can look at them and also, I use them as a towel sometimes if his towels are dirty (I only have about 4 towels and I bathe my son daily) but receiving blankets come in handy 99.9% of the time so definitely keep those in stock (:

You can use both to swaddle your baby. I use receiving blanets to swaddle my children because theyre a little bit thinner in most cases and its so hot here in AZ. Not a huge difference though.
