Graco baby brand has recalled their baby seats due to faulty straps... for infant-toddler seats

You can go to the national highway safety administration website and search graco recalls or Google search graco recalls to find out what brands or models are on recall. The one I originally wanted was recalled back I'm march so I now have baby trend spin travel system and its amazing...I love the colors even though it is gender neutral and I'm having a girl.

The buckle recall has been done on Graco, Evenflo, AND Babytrend seats... no need to harsh on Graco. They'll send you the buckle for free, it's an easy replacement, and the seat is still perfectly safe to use. Minor problem with a simple solution.

@Katyrb no this was not a new recall Graco hasnt recalled anything since the buckel soo no worries.

Hey now if i could help all of you momma's out with some of the more expensive things I would in a heartbeat. Y'all have been so helpful and a lot of y'all have put up with a couple of my crazy rants and helped me to calm down. I was only for a buckle on certain brands, most of them from 2009. The buckle kept getting stuck bc of food and juice mucking them up and mothers complained. No one was hurt bc of it, it was just an inconvenience. If you ask for a new buckle they will send you one. I've always used graco and never had a problem.

That's why I don't buy Graco anymore to avoid recalls even though I know any car seat I get can be recalled. I bought the Baby Trend car seat and sit and stand stroller.  Hope they don't but a recall on those because I'm due any day now.

My Graco set is normally $264, they marked it down to $154, im getting another 30% taken off because they just want the damn thing out of the store plus my moms discount. Perks of my mom working part time at toys r us :)

Hazel413 that doesn't test your car seat though they are testing baby. Some babies can't handle being in a car seat and will become hypoxic. They actually make special car bassinets to keep baby laying down if that's the case

No it was not faulty staps. The last recall graco had was for the harness buckel and alls you had to do was order a new buckel for free. And the recall was around Febuary. Go search graco recall and on their website it shows the recalls.

See! Thank God one of the guidelines to going home with baby here is a two hour test where she's in the car seat n they simulate a road.
Baby is hooked up to all types of monitors to see if everything is good.
