Getting Pregnant

My husband and I have been trying for our first child since April of 2011. I am 24 and he is 26. I've read online that it usally takes a year. Well, back in April I found out I was pregnant, went in for the doctors office for their pregnancy test (no one told me they give you the dollar store brand) She told me I was 5 weeks along. Well a couple of days went by, about 4 I guess and I had another appt with the Dr. Well over that weekend I noticed some blood while wiping. nothing major what so ever. I had told my Mother and Aunts at Easter, and they all reassured me it was fine because they all had regular periods the entire time they were pregnant. So that Drs appointment, the blood showed up even more. So they did the hcg test, now I cant remember the #s but they were low, went back 2 days later, even lower. I was miscarrying at about 6 weeks. Worst 2 weeks of my life. Since then, the following months my periods have been normal, fine and dandy and on time like always. We have still continued to try and its been a fail every month. I have  my yearly appt with my Dr in October. Could something be wrong? what questions do I ask him? April of 2013 will be 2 years! It is so frustrating. Help with any advice, Thanks!

Im sorry to hear that! Our stories are a little similar.Mr and my patner started trying jan 2011 and i fell march 2012 only to miscarry at 7 weeks. Mr and my partner fell again june 2012 and so far im healthy and 12 weeks on Sunday. Anyway... there is hope and there is nothing wrong with you. Ive know people to fall straight away and people to fall a year after. If you can see if they can test you to see if you ovulate every month. Its a simple blood twst i had in jan 2012 after a year of trying i was told i didnt ovulate every month. I hope its good news and you fall soon. Try not to stress about it as ot only harms the cause.

Good luck with everything :-)

Thank you. Stress, I try not to but it's like, okay doing everything right, vitamins, keeping up with periods, ovulation, ect and it isnt working ;( I handled our miscarriage 10x better than my husband, while that baby was ours was probably the happiest days of our life. He would kiss my belly goodmorning and goodnight, every single day and night. He was already in love. and I want that again. Congrats on your pregnancy!  :))) Happy and Healthy 9 months!
