Thanks my husband is very good with a gun and he makes sure i know how to usr it hes going to get a laser to make it easier. My children have shot guns before . My grandparents have alot of land in the country so theve gone hunting with there grandfather. For deer not people lol. They would litterly have to learn to fly to find it.
Yes perfectly safe a long as it is not kept loaded. It has a lock on it, it is in a safe (which you clearly have done) take a safely course and make sure you are families enough with the operation of the gun should you need to quickly load and fire the weapon. Teach your kids to have respect for the tool. Kitchen appliances and electrical outlets among othe things in your house. You don't even lock the stove up yet normal kids don't laugh it and set things or people on fire. They respect it. And don't make the gun a big secret that they just stumble across one day while playing. They should be taught not to touch it just lie you teach them not to stick something in an outlet. :)
Mine has a saftey combination on it. I have older children but they dont even know we have it. I couldnt imagine not having one anymore.
With the things that have been happening recently, I'm opposed to having firearms unless its absolutely necessary and then you have to make sure you are very careful to keep them absolutely out of reach of the children. When they grow older it may be a good idea to get rid of the guns or have the kids professionally evaluated (mentally) to make sure you don't have one of those incidents where an otherwise normal child turns on his/her family with their own guns. Statistics show that most deaths caused by gun violence in domestic households are caused by guns owned by that family so I'd say be very very careful.
i think its a great idea! as long as its put away nd no where the kids can get it then its perfectly fine wit me...
It was my next door neighbor who got robed she was a single young women who worked nights i keep thinking about it because i was sitting on the couch while she was getting robed and i heard her dogs going crazy luckly she wasnthome. She knocked around midnight with the police and asked if we heard anything. Since then ive been terrified. My husband said i would be a easy target because we live on a corner house and hes never home and im here with the kids. Its just soo scary.
Not only is it ok, I think it is important. I am a small woman, only 4'9" and 100 lbs. Although I am trained in martial arts, I understand that this is not much good against an armed intruder. My children and I need to be protected, and so do you
Absolutely!! In fact I think its crazy to not have a way to protect your home! Things are definitely not what they were when I was growing up!! If someone came into your house to rob rape or.kill you I'm 90% sure they would probably be armed so you need to be armed to protect your family and home. Just make sure its put up where only you and your hubby know where it is and only you two can get it.
I can say with absolute certainty that if you feel better with it, and it's in a locked gun safe, you should absolutely have it. We have several firearms in our gun safe.
I No Its A Touchy Subject LOL But I C No Prob Wit It At All!!! That Is Scary!!!
