She said its was painful no word of a lie but once you see your baby all pain goes away and all u can think about is that beautiful baby! I want that feeling so bad plus ill be working 9 months on this baby im bot giving up at the end.....well unless dr says i have for my sake and/or the babys sake. Ive kbown since im like 14 yrs old i wanted kids and that was the way i was gonna go! Im now 21yrs old and super ready to rock this birth! I still have to wait till august though! No matter which way u go though just know that your beautiful baby will be with u in ur arms in know time!
i have nothing to prove. I'm definitely getting all the drugs they will give me.
I'm going to try my hardest to go natural, but if I really really can't take it I'll get the walking epidural , so I'm not completely numb & can feel the process still
See I wanna try natural. I've heard the pain is nuts but its what we are made for. And it will go away right after. My mother issnt very encouraging. She had four natural and the last one epidural. It all scare whichever way it happens...I can't make up my mind...
I had my 3yr old girl natural, I was induce but refuse to take epi... I didt it, it wasnt easy I was crying like there's no tomorrow all I remember was the nurse keep asking me are you sure you don't want epidural .. I'm 21 days away from my due day now with a little boy.. lets see how things flow...I'm afraid of that niddle in my back since I been having lots of back pain lately.. I pray to God give me courage.
I am more afraid of needles in my spine than a baby coming out of my vagina. I had my first almost completely natural. Tylenol got me through up until active labor, then they gave me Stadol (sp?). I want to try this one completely natural, especially if I don't have to be induced again.
As for the pain- it was certainly the most pain I had ever felt, but it wasn't as bad as I had been lead to believe. The epidural is your choice, but personally I don't ever want one.
I'm very afraid of being that one person that may get paralyzed or getting. Poked and general. I've got plenty of tats but a needle that long into my spinal cord sounds scary
I feel you... I'm the same here..
I was very nervous and afraid with my first as well. I was scared of the contractions, epidural, the whole thing. If you decide to go natural, more power to ya girl!! I definitely think I couldn't have done it without the meds and epidural. Well, I was induced and was in labor for 27 hours! I went 12 hours without the pain meds, and omg let me tell you! I felt a weight lifted off of me. I could actually rest a little. The contractions were long and very hard every 1-2 minutes from the start and didn't let up. I went 17 hours without the epidural and it was a life saver! I was scared of the needle but I didn't even feel it because they numb it first. After that, things progressed pretty quickly and was holding my big baby girl before I knew it! :) When things get going you will forget about the frightening things, and concentrate on the baby. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, but was very sore after! Each minute was definitely worth it! Congrats and good luck!
