People are so rude....

So I am 26 weeks 6 days pregnant and yesterday 5 random people throughout my work ( I work at a hospital) asked me if I was pregnant. ... after the 3rd one I just started telling them " no im just really fat" then I walked away the look of embarrassment on their faces was priceless. .. isnt there like a rule of thumb if you can't tell dont ask, everyone of my friends I have told said that its just rude to ask question and you can clearly tell I am pregnant I have a very round belly lol.... has anyone else had this happen where people just are rude or blunt?

When I wasn't pregnant some lady asked how far along I was I started crying and told her I wasn't pregnant. Hopefully she never does that again. But now I actually am pregnant with a little belly and nothing yet

You are funny (: that sounds like something I would do.  Never had strangers ask me if I'm pregnant but my mother in law was like. .. are you sure you're not having twins ? Uhm duh ! I already had an ultrasound you know this ! She not that stupid she just felt like being a ***** I guess

OMG that is so rude! I seen a friend that I hadn't seen for almost a year and when I saw her she looked pregnant but I didn't dare ask if she was pregnant cuz that is rude and hurtful if she wasn't cuz I know I'd be pissed!  Lol

Students and teachers at my school asked. It was non of their business but I told them yes to be nice. I felt bad for them asking because I was under 20 weeks when my whole school knew. People I didn't even know knew or asked.

I get asked are you sure your not having twins??? I'm like your going to have twin black eyes if you keep talking lol and some man the other day s regular customer at my store said looks like your putting on weight are you expecting?  He's a nice old man but geez it hurt my feelings :*(

i don't so much get offended but I'm just like can you ask me first before you start to comment on my belly. i don't get mad or anything at all but at least ask lol. like the other day i went to my nieces softball game and the girl asked if i wanted cheese on my frito boat and i said yes and she's like give her extra she's pregnant, she's pregnant, aye she's pregnant like she kept telling her i was pregnant and saying it loud. what if i wasn't pregnant. but i am really starting to show and i love it. i am 27 weeks :)

I don't think they were rude. Those poor people were probably just trying to start a conversation.

I could understand maybe if you dont get along with those people. But sometimes people want to start a nice conversation or maybe want to be happy with you or maybe have helpful pregnancy stories to tell about themeselves. Dont stress hun its not good for u and baby:)

When I gave birth, approximately a month after I went to Wal-Mart with my husband to buy diapers and the woman ay the cash register seen all the baby stuff and asked how far along I was lol I felt so weird at the spot but her face reaction when I said I gave birth about a month ago was priceless lol haha that's why i never ask any woman if they are pregnant or not cause I wouldn't want someone to do that to me when I wasn't like the Wal-Mart situation lol

I'm 35 weeks and people ask me that. I haven't gained weight anywhere except my stomach, so you'd think it would be obvious by now. I understand why you are annoyed. We already feel big as mommies because this is far from our normal shape, so it isn't nice to have someone question if you're actually pregnant. I told someone yesterday I was just hiding a basketball.

People are deffinatly rude. My nurse at work was training someone, when my nurse came to twll me something this lady burst out with "OMG, you are really pregnant! " I dont think I have  ever been so annoyed in my life. And to make it worse she keeps asking personal questions and I don't know her so I dont answer her.
