so can you still have sex after you lose your plug?
because im getting mixed messages and confused. im overdue and alot of people have found that sex has helped but ive lost my plug and people have been telling me its no longer safe to have sex as theres a risk of infection. HOWEVER ive also read and heard that its only when ypur waters break that you havnt to have sex...
HELP... which one is it ?

You do run the risk of infection because when your water breaks that semen is still in there as well as anything else your opening your vagina to during sex.  The babies first line of Defense is gone now so anything put up there now (if plug hasn't grown back) has direct access to baby.

Safe if you know your partner and make sure he cleans himself before sex.

Sex is fine as long as your waters haven't broke.

Yeah just have him and you both shower and scrub with soap before you do it to be safe :)
