(((Pretty sure she already knows she's "too young" and that he should have "known better"  and how hard it will be but it should be noted that my parents are 7 years apart and you can't even tell. My father's name isn't on my birth certificate, but that was because of the state's laws back in '92 and they weren't married yet, even though I was planned.)))

I'm thinking that as long as you or your parents don't press charges on him, it would be ok, and you probably don't have to put the name down at all if you don't want to. I would look up maybe state laws on age of consent and such, though. Congratulations, and best of luck!

In the state of Florida, the age for dating is 16 to 24 with parents consent. Being 15, you technically don't have the right to choose to have sex even if it was with another 15 year-old. Your parents could press charges on the 15 year old boy if they weren't okay with you having sex. Or his parents vice versa. But no one is going to get involved unless your parents have an issue with the age difference.

I was in ur shoes. The father signed the BC and nothing happened.

He should be ok at the hospital as long as your parents don't press charges.

15 in ky is the age of consent but if parent press it they can definitely get him to statutory rape in not sure about flordia law but honestly I'm surprised the parents haven't stepped in and said something. A 21 year old man should have known better. At 15 you're still a baby and have so much life ahead of you, I'm not saying you can't still live it's just going to be tremendously harder

For the father to be on the birth certificate he has to be present at the hospital and a hospital administrator has to witness the actual signing; as for getting in trouble, I'm not sure what the age of consent is in Florida, but if ur not old enough to legally consent then ur parents can press charges for statutory rape. I went to school for criminal justice and most States for legal consent is 17, especially if ur partner is over 18.

You definitely don't have to put his name on the birth certificate. ...
I agree,  if your parents won't get him arrested,  then you can put his name down.

Wow I wud hope ur parents wud press charges nd not allow that to happen I actually wudnt have him sign it cuz I'm sure ur state can pick up charges on him even if ur parents don't press charges I'm sure in every state that's considered statutory rape w or wout parental approval

Well that depends on whether or not your parents press charges. However you have to put down a fathers name on the birth certificate whether he is present or not
