how can u stop constant diarrhea?

I cant take it much longer. Its been non stop since 3 this morning. Idk if its the flu or a stomach bug but I need it to stop so it doesnt throw me into early labor at 30 weeks

They also didnt allow me to drink anything, since I would just throw it up, I begged them for water and all they said was no, you need iv right now... so really if not treated, it can get serious.

Same thing happened to me 2 weeks ago, I went to the hospital for it. Constant diaarhea and vomiting. They said it was a virus. I needed 5 packs of ivs for being so dehydrated. Id go get checked out by a dr. Asap. It went away the next day, a d returned the day after that. So be careful. Go to the hospital

Sip the drinks when you drink them as will calm it down hopefully

Its definitely a virus or flu. I just got like projectile vomiting along with it after I drank pedilite

Dont worry about food right now just drink lots of water, Electrolyte water/Gatorade.  I had this Friday.  I drank and just drank at first.  At first I felt drinking was just causing it more but after about 3/4 a Gatorade it started to slow down.  Then when I did finally eat I ate light, bread with turkey meat.  And I used moist wipes when I went to the bathroom so ithurt less to wipe.  Hope that helps.

I agree with kenna. Applesauce and bananas are suppose to thicken things up. I would go buy some pedialyte though. Just to stay hydrated and keep your electrolytes up. And if you think your dehydrated go to the hospital!

Try the brat diet bananas rice applesauce or toast always helped me!
