infection at 5 weeks pregnant

Im 5 weeks pregnant and i think i have bacterial vaginosis ive read it can cause misscariage and now am so scared! Im going to the doctors at 5 today. But im so scared now ive read that! Anybody else had this?

I was actually just diagnosed with this! I'm almost 14 weeks pregnant and I went to ER two days ago for cramping and bleeding fearing I was having a miscarriage. Once I was checked out and had an ultrasound they gave me the same diagnosis and I'm on medicine now that you take twice a day for five days and then you should be fine:) I feel much better after being on medicine for only two days.

Thanks guys i feel better knowing other woman are having healthy pregnancies and have had it! The doctor prescribed canestan duo for thrush just incase its that, im getting some swabs done on friday so hopefully that will tell me if its not thrush! Hehe thanks again ladies!!! :-)

I had it before and during beginning of my pregnancy. I'm 27weeks and just got a.prescription for it. You should be ok, just don't google every little detail in your pregnancy  :-)

Don't, think negative momma your going to be fine :) your going to the doctors today, hell prescribe you something to treat it

Ya ive had it before pregnancy and in the beginning. Im 33w now and me n baby r fine. As long as u get the necessary antibiotics u should b fine. I was,nervous too cuz i read up on it but it's very rare to have a mc due to. Dnt stress hun it will b fine. It's good ur going to doc :)
