Positive PG but bleeding? HELP!

As a female we know how the good ole intuition works for us. We just seem to KNOW! This was the case for me. I KNoW I am pregnant. Just the same as all my other children my lack of PMS symptoms set off the "baby alarm".

My LMP was Jun 7th and I made love with my partner on several occasions during my most fertile time.
Yesterday morning (7-4) I took a blue dye test, positive, yet so faint I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. This prompted further questioning...
I went to the store purchased a 3 pack of a different brand (also blue dye). Waited several hours and took another test. Within one minute there was a positive line. Still very faint but more so visible than the first. By this time, around noon I would say, I started bleeding. There is no pain, no cramping, no assocation to PMS what-so-ever. I thought maybe the blue dye tests were faulty so I started researching online. There seems to be a somewhat high false positive rate with blue dye and they suggested to try a pink/red dye test.
Today (7-5), I went and purchased a First Response test. I came home took the test, still bleeding, and sure enough even before the required 3 minute wait time, positive. However, yet again, very faint!

I guess I should also mention I typically have 8 day periods with somewhat heavy bleeding. Last month my period was 3 days of light bleeding and 2 of spotting then it vanished.

I am aware there is a thing called decidual bleeding which mimics menstruation.
Could I potentially be experiencing decidual bleeding or possibly a miscarriage/blighted ovum? But if it were a miscarriage wouldn't I be in pain and the bleeding be extremely heavy with large clots? I don't know anything about these.
I'm confused, I'm concerned and I know going to the doctor is the only way to know 100% however, they cannot fit me in until almost next month. I have contemplated going to the ER but I have 2 small children which makes it virtually impossible.

Any input or suggestion??

i had the same thing happen to me. I am a full 6 day heavy bleeder and on my LMP i only bled lightly for 2.5 days. Then spotted 2 weeks later. I just went for an ultrasound on 7/2/10 due to bleeding x 7 days finds out i have a hemmorage on my gestational sac. Its really small. i have since quit bleeding all together. The Doc told me if i start bleeding again or get a fever could be the early start of a miscarriage. I am keeping my hopes high and taking it easy bc the hemmorage will heel itself kinda like a wound.
Good luck!!

Blue dye tests are the worst! They give false positives (or evaporation lines which hardly ever happen on a First Response test)... It is possible that you are having a chemical pregnancy (usually women don't even know that they are having them because they happen around the time of a period)/early miscarriage. Usually they are a tad bit longer or heavier than your regular period but sometimes there are no differences to alert to them at all... It is also possible that it could be decidual bleeding but like you said there is no way to know except going to the doctor or sitting it out and waiting. It is also possible that you are having implantation bleeding (blood from the egg implanting) but it is usually spotting or brown "old" blood. The ER would probably only do a urine test and maybe a blood test and if you are having faint positives then your numbers would not be high enough to show anything on a ultrasound so an ER might be a bust especially with small children. I would say wait to see what happens with the bleeding (if it gets heavier or stops) and then in a few days take another test to see if it is still positive or negative and that should give you your answer. I hope you get a good out come!
