I'm not quite as late, but late nonetheless.  I finally got my BFP this morning, but had to use a different test to get it.  Each test out there works in varying degrees.  I had dip strips from teh docs office initially and they all showed neg, until this morning (but I still think that was my eyes playing tricks at 5am!).  I decided to call a truce with my body and went to the store and picked up a First Response Early Reader (FRER).  And sure enough, there is a nice bright positive.  The FRER, I believe has a reader of 15mIU/L whereas the typical pee stick is about 50mIU/L.  And for some, that could take days!!  After much reading yesterday online, because I was soooo puzzled, you are not alone! Some have been close to 6-8w, even 4mths before they get a positive!! I'm not sure how that works, but there's a baby growing in there nonetheless!
Best wishes to us both for our late bloomers! :)
