@ash060115 girl I swore I wouldn't be having any more kids either, I mean I almost died the first time around.... but it's been 3 years, I'm due 9/20....
I'm never going back to that hospital ever, they almost let me die, if t wasnt for my daughter heart rate dropping so low i would have....
But I will definitely let you know how things turn out....
@2xmommie yes I had transfusions too I was in icu after it and baby was in nicu... I was only 18 and swore I'd never have another baby :(
Terrified now again :(
I'm at same hospital which I swore I wouldn't do :/ but not much choice as I'm highrisk n need to be in this hospital with the nicu :(
I'd love to know how you get on because I really want to vbac too- & it feels like nobody understands how scary pa is!
Please do stay in touch and let me know how you get on etc... I'm due January 6th .... 21weeks away but expecting to go early :(
It all depends on the person. My sister bounced back after both her c sections. Some people don't bounce right back.
I want a vaginal, but it of turns out that I need a c section, then that's the only way ill have one.
@ash060115 9/20, I'm having my second baby in another city, it's been kind of hard for them get my records.... I was waiting for my operative notes to come back to see witch way my was closed.... my doctor says from the notes on my discharge I should be ok for a vbac (fingers crossed).... I bleed out from my abruption, needed 4 blood transfusions, and kidneys into shock.... I'm just praying everything goes well with the vbac....
It's really up to you. Vaginal typically has a shorter recovery period and had fewer risks than surgery. However since you've already had a surgery the risks almost balance out. Do some research, ask your Dr what he/she thinks is safest in your individual case. Check out ICAN and birth without fear.
I had a placental abruption on my first too... I want to vbac but they said it depends on how my scars are inside. My uterus burst inside me too on the abruption. (I didn't bleed all was inside)
So because my uterine rupture and cs I've to see what scars are inside first :/
Which did you heal faster on your vag birth or cs birth? - I'd go with vag if I was you. Theres less risks etc associated with vbac. Than repete cs.
@2xmommie when are you due to vbac? :) I'm excited seeing another pa vbac! :)
I'm going for a vbac.... Hopefully everything goes smooth with l&d because I definitely do not want another c-section.... Mines was also an emergency, due to placental abruption....
