stabbing pains

I posted this in another forum, but it's slow over there at times.

I've been having sharp stabbing pains the past few days on and off.  I called the OB to ask if it was normal, and they are making me come in at 2pm today-hubby is going to leave work to give me a ride.  It makes me worry that they want to see me so suddenly.  I mentioned that I have an ultrasound appointment on Monday, but they didn't care.  So I realllllllly hope nothing is going on badly!~  :(

Has anyone else had sharp pains in their abdomen?

Well when he does tell you, you'll have to let us know!  That's good though!  I am just dandy!

Trying to down a lot of peanut butter while my son is in his high chair.  He is allergic to it, LOL  so I can barely eat it anymore  :(

Have the pains subsided at all?

Hey, my appointment yesterday was good.  They attributed all the pain to just ligaments stretching, which makes sense, even though they had not been this sharp before.

Also, we got our ultrasound yesterday, a few days early.  Baby looks very  normal, and Hubby knows the sex!  (I want him to keep it a secret from me until the 27th-our 1 year wedding anniversary).  :)

How are you doing?

I hope that is what it is.  I'm eating and drinking right now, so hopefully that will help.  I'll keep you updated with what happens at the OB.

it's probably just bh contractions.  you actually have them from 14 weeks on.  Most of the time you wont feel them at all.  Try drinking some water though, like a couple glasses to see if it helps.  They can be brought on really strong if your dehydrated, or hungry!  I wouldn't worry though!  Fairly common!

Sharp pains are usually contractions!  They are probably going to put you on the monitor and probably check you to see if you've dialated.  How far along are you!?
