baby's fetal heart beat

So when I first got pregnant the baby's heart beat was in the 150's and we got an ultrasound and found out I was having a girl. I haven't had any complications so my doctor hasn't mentioned doing another ultrasound but at my last appointment the hay beat was 134. So now my mom is worried that it could be a boy. Anyone else had a similar problem?

My first baby was a boy his was always in the 160 and slowly went down with growth but baby girl has only made to 10 a couple times. My mom always does that to with freaking out if her heart rate goes down

My doctor also told me the heart beat decreases with growth. The heart rate will also differ depending on how active the baby is when the are listening to the heart beat.

I figured it prob slowed as they grow bc it shouldn't be that high when they are born but my mom is making a big deal if it haha.

Heartbeat does not conclude gender in any way. It's a wives tale and usually it's used just for fun to *guess* the gender. If you have had an ultrasound confirmation I would suggest that it's correct. Sometimes it's wrong but usually it's right. Fetal heart rate slows as they grow, it's normal.
