im 15 weeks 3 days now and bleeding only stopped about a week ago they dont think mine will dissolve like most because of the size position and having 2 not just one but i can deal with that as long as my babies healthy and growing thats all that matters when i first found out i was terrified but its been going on 6 weeks now and ive got my head around all of it and been given good cases and bad so i was prepared from th start :) but now im past my 13 weeks and bubs still going strong i dont stress so much about it
Yeah, they can be very scary but apparently they are pretty common. As long at the baby is doing well, that is all that matters. What I have found is that even if the bleeding stops it doesn't mean the hematoma went away. I was still spotting brown for about a week after mine resolved. I assumed that if I had no spotting or bleeding that it went away. Not the case.
So just try not to read anything into it and trust your doctor. :) Best of luck to everyone!
I had the same problem.M happy that your bleeding has stopped and i wish you do not see that ugly hematoma in your next ultrasound. Normally they dissolve by 12-13 weeks,if not then maximum by your 18 weeks scan.So Good Luck.
This is great news I am 10 weeks and going through the same problem
yay ive been posting for weeks about these silly things lol. ive also had trouble since 9 weeks 3rd baby 1st time ive ever had probs. i only found out kos i started bleeding and got rushed through for a emergency ultrasound and the found a hematoma there so told me to expect more bleeding at this point i was freaked out and though i was going to lose my baby. at 13 weeks got rushed back in for a more serious bleed to find a 2nd one oh yay which theyve now called a perigestional hematoma. but im now 15 weeks the bleeding has stopped and everytime ive been in for ultrasounds my babys grown and is fine.. i wont know what has happened with them again until jan 4th for my girl or boy scan but im so glad to hear yours has disappeared its not a nice thing to go through
thats great news .M really very happy for you.Have a healthy pregnancy ahead.
I wanted to update this incase anyone reads it later. My subchorionic bleed resolved at 12 weeks. I am now 16 weeks, back to all my normal activities and doing very well. :)
Thank you ladies!! That helped so much! I haven't bled since then and I have been on bedrest for 3 days now (today is day 4...yippy lol). I have a follow up on Monday so hopefully is got absorbed. I'm ready to stop worrying all the time!! :)
I had one show up around 8 weeks and when I went back at 9 1/2 weeks it was gone. It wasnt very large according to my dr but it was pulling the placenta away from the uterus. But it healed pretty quickly. I was put on bed rest too until
I was 12 weeks though.
I can tel you what Doc says about these hematoma, they normally get absorbed by the body or bleed out of body.Though it is hard time for you but trust me i have searched alot on this and i know there are many cases on medhelp ended in positive results.
I am going mental !!!! yes thats her and shes just posted above me :)
hey im wondering if u would take a look at my post a few down from this and tell me if its anything like what u experienced i too have a SCH and am so so lost :)
I had one. Started bleeding super bad a 5 weeks and continued bleeding until week 10 almost everyday bright red and worse then a period. They usually resolve on their own by 20 weeks. Despite mine being pretty bad I was told there was no need for bed rest just pelvic rest until I hadn't bled for 1 week straight. After I stopped bleeding my pregnancy continued as normal and a delivered a healthy girl at 38 weeks.
oops no thats not her, sorry I'm trying to find the post and will let you know when I do
there is another lady on here that has posted the same question 4 hrs ago, her user name is needzadvice maybe you could send her a note, then you two could share your experiences/support each other :)
