tampon to insert epo

Ive been using a tampon to insert epo since i cannot reach my cervix( its posterior so that makes it even.harder) ive never had a problem doing this, but since lastnight( found out im 4 cm and 50 effaced, and have lost mucus plug) im unable to insert a whole tampon. I feel slmething that stops me from inserting it further. Its somewhat painfule and feels like pressure when i hit it. Could it be the bag of waters? Im afraid if i push harder i may hurt baby. Anyone ever experience this?

Evening primrose oil. You get it at vitamin stores or places like Walmart, cvs, etc.

Bc it's still absorbed by your body. It has the same effect. I used it with my daughter and by the third day I was in labor. I've never inserted it, just broke the capsule and rubbed it on.

I think she using the cardboard/plastic applicator to insert the epo. I doubt she's using the actual tampon. When you have vaginal infections during pregnancy they sometimes prescribe a cream and you have to use an applicator to insert. So in general it's safe. However, you shouldn't try to force the applicator. It sounds like your cervix has moved down and is in position to give birth.

I'd probably stop inserting it vaginally and just break open a capsule and rub it on my belly the oils are still absorbed through your abdomen.

I dont insert the whole tampon cause i take out the cotton and replace it with epo, ive heard of other wlmen doing this if they cant reach there cervix. Im not inserting it anymore though since its uncomfortable and im now dilated.
