Tubes tied?

So anyone thinking about it, also is there a reversible one? Dk anything about em. How they do it or so forth?

Shoot before I even made my first dr app when I called the lady asked if I wanted my tubes tied after. Then at my dr app the dr did too. Lol  but I may consider it wether its reversable or not just gonna be a harder decision.

I'm getting mine tied after this baby is born my dr told me it was reversible and she would use some type of clamps to tie them

Im 19 and about to have my second baby. I have also asked my dr about getting my tubes tied. I havnet talked to him about reversing it. I have heard a lot of people say it can undo itself. But he never refused me because its either 21 or your second child which ever comes first. I dont think they can refuse it can they?

I know a lot of doctors who will refuse to electively sterilize anyone under 30, if it's what you want I'm sure you can find another doctor who will though, it's not considered reversible, and it is a surgical procedure. Insurance companies won't cover a reversal and generally reversals are unsuccessful. In the event I have to have a csection I'm getting mine tied, but if not we're going back to NFP.

Strange I ask my doc about reversible ones and she said no such thing.  I wanted to have it dive but she said I will never again have babies. She said its a lie and many women don't know and have it done ans when they decided to "undo " it they can't. And I'm 32 weeks with third baby and 21 years old she said I'm to young and won't do it for me .  So I don't know if she is right or wrong. She was also my doc for baby number 2.

U know the feeling was on the iud  mirena  and had complications so this is my 3rd as well and I'm done

Iv been thinking about it. I'm gonna talk to doc tue about it. If I do it would be reversible one. I love kids and all but after this one I am good for a long while. This will be my 3rd. I just don't wanna do it if its not reversible cuz u never know what lies ahead down the road. I'm not big on bc. I tried a couple types of bc before but never liked them. Expecially the depo. That was horrible

There are several different ways they can do it and I believe at least some are reversible.  However, as with any other birth control, not 100 percent effective!  I've read a lot about women getting PG after having tubes tied.  As for the different methods I would google it.  :-)  my sister had hers done and is thinking about reversing it
