What does baby need?!?

Ok so I just had my shower and I want to make sure I have everything. What do I need for baby to come home?

Crib and sheets and mattress
Baby wash
Flannels/face wipes
Towels
Singlets
Onesies
Rash cream
Socks
Mittens
Nappies/diapers
Bunny rugs
Thermometer
Baby bouncer .
Baby wipes
That was pretty much it. I had a lot of stuff given to me that I just didn't use so I gave it away. When bubs is first here you don't need heaps. As time goes along you work out what you use and don't use. To many FTM's get sucked into buying all sorts of over priced junk, when you don't need it! Buy smart and ask your mom or grandma what they used, it's surprising the things you don't need.

a crib or Moses basket to sleep in initially, cot for when a bit older, sheets / covers for same. nappies wipes and nappy cream. bottles sterilizer and formula if bottle feeding or expressing milk. vests sleepsuits hats and socks and scratch mittens.  parasol for pram, bath thermometer and bedroom thermometer. cotton wool for washing face. playmat to lie on. the baby centre site is great for info too x
