have a question about conception

If u have irregular periods how does it work with pregnancy according to my ultrasound dec 8 I was 13 weeks 6 days dr said I was supposed to have my period around sept 2 or sept 4 but says I conceived sept 17 but I didn't have a period for Sept this my 1st pregnacy and everything is confusing can someone explain please and thanks

Thanks I was on the depo shot for 2 years got on it in 2010 got off it in 2012 and been off it for 2 years now but the depo shot messed my periods up im just trying to figure this thing out

As far as I know you still ovulate. I don't remember having a period at all in April (when I conceived) and yet that's when I got pregnant. I've always been irregular, but I was never told that would affect conception....

I find that on the months I didn't have a period I still ovulated... It's odd but sometimes your body just keeps on working without having a regular period

You could be farther along than you were told... or else maybe you had a light period and didn't even realize it...
