So my husband wants to name our unborn son Malechai after the creepy demon child from Children Of The Corn. Absolutely not. I prefer Misha but he really wants Malechai. Am I selfish for this or am I reacting like any mother would if their baby was getting named after some evil chitlin?

Never heard of children of the corn, and a girl I know has a son with that name but its spelt slightly different. If it makes you think of something bad, id avoid it.

The thing is that he's naming him specifically after that demon child. Not for any biblical reason. I would've went for it of he had a different reason for naming our child that.
