Since you're so far along you can stick as many as you want up there I did 3 at 37 weeks so try 5 and just shove them as far up as you can

I guess stick it up as far as it will go and throw a pillow under your bum and stay like that as long as possible and let gravity take care of,the rest
How do you know if it's up near your cervix? Or can you just not do it wrong just shoving it up there?

They soften the cervix I'm 38 weeks and I've been doing then for 2wks and my cervix is really soft now... I take by mouth two a day abs insert 3 at bed time. . Btw when I was 36 wks my cervix was really thick. So I believe they work
U just put it inside up by your cervix I don't know that they do anything I've been using for 2 weeks idk if they have done anything or not
