honestly their not even supposed to do xrays for pregnant ppl cz of the chance of radiation. I would avoid it

I asked then when I made the appointment of they have aprons and they don't, think I might avoid xray if I can really don't want to risk it

I've gotten.so much dental work done while pregnant I've had a root canal and fillings really the only thing my dentist won't do until after baby is born is my wisdom teeth. Ice even had xrays they just pt two aprons over me rather than one. I always go pee right before they start.

I got teeth filled and pulled while I was pregnant last time.. it really wasn't much different except they used an anesthetic that didn't pass through the placenta

If you have a cavity or cavities, you are better off getting the tooth out when pregnant than waiting until later, the bacteria that gets into your system from tooth issues is bad for the body and the baby.

I haven't, but have had some serious issues with my wisdom teeth.  They wanted to wait till baby comes.  But did say if the pain was really serious it would br better to get it out, the stress it can put on your body can effect the baby.  I kind of wish I would have just done it when I first went in, because I have really painful episodes, they dont last for more then a day, but at this point I need to just wait it out (38 weeks)  they like to do it in the second trimester if possible.
