after baby's born, when did you start your period again?

This question is for the moms who have already had their babies, after you stopped bleeding after birth, how long was it until you started your period again? My son is 8 weeks old today :) and i bled for exactly 1 month so in 2 days it will be 4 weeks since it stopped but I've had some very very light spotting in the last week, i haven't started birth control bcuz I've always taken the pill and when i stopped it to try to get pregnant last year i realized they were making me really depressed and messed with my sex drive bad so i had my Dr give me the Nuva ring this week instead so I'm wondering when my period might start so i can do the Nuva ring,

I didn't get mine until my son was 8 months. I breast fed

I only bled for 5days after my c section then it stopped. I got my first period 4weeks after i had my son.

14 months later, I breast fed but also bled from Nov 28(when I gave birth) till mid February

I breast fed both mine and didn't get a period for about 11 months after having them..

I breastfed my daughter and didn't have a period until 8 months after and even then it wasn't normal.

Your body is going thru a lot of changes not just pregnancy but being on a chemical for so long can also make things harder to jump start are you breast feeding that can do it sometimes and also your period can also start to become irregular after having baby.  Your obgyn should give you an idea when its best to get the ring done.  Congrats enjoy the baby

I didn't start mine until baby was 3.5 months!

I bled 3 weeks lightly dark red brownish on week 4 I started spotting for 10 days bright red pinkish blood and ive jad my period ever since even though I'm breastfeeding.
