My Girlfriend and I

Recently my Girlfriend has gotten off of birth control (about 5 months ago) and we have been having protected sex and being very careful.  Since she has gotten off of the pill her periods have been a little off from month to month but around the first 2 weeks of the month it starts.  Well this month it still has not came and we are very worried about it.  She is extremely scared and so am I but I am also trying to stay positive and keep her calm.  She wants to take a pregnancy test today, I am just worried that it is what she thinks it is and she may be pregnant.  Neither of us are ready to have a child at this time.  I am just very worried about what could come.

Pick up a couple of tests, but HCG is its strongest thing thing in the morning,as to get an accuarte reading she needs to not have pee'd or drank for several hours.

Oh right, her most fertile time, and only time she can concieve is when she ovulates, this is generally 2 weeks before her period.fingers crossed for you both then, that just remember stress and anxiety can delay her ovulation,in which case it would make her period late.if she tests and still nothing, then give it a week and repeat test.all the best.

Make sure she takes it with first morning urine (tomorrow morning) if her period doesnt show.  FIrst morning urine has the highest concentration of the HCG hormone so results are the most accurate.

We moved to another state and she was on her parents insurance, so she couldn't get it from there.  We are going to clinic after we find out what is happening.  Her "normal" period start date is the 12th and that was yesterday, but like I said she hasn't been on that routine it has come in the first week of the month or the second.  I am picking up a hpt today to test it.

Im confused if your worried, why has she come off the pill ? .coming of the pill can mess with your periods,it can take several months,to get back into a normal routine.maybe she should go back on birth control if neither of you want a child.it maybe she ovulated a little later than normal.maybe to put her mind at ease she should test.
