Well I have severe lower back pain occasionally, and they said that being pregnant has caused me to have muscle spasms but now my upper back is starting to hurt and it *****. They prescribed me flexeril to take daily, but I don't because I don't want it to somehow harm my baby.
I have really bad back pain normally because i was injured in a tornado a year an a half ago but since i got pregnant it's a million times worse, my doctor recommended to sit with a heating pad on low-medium a couple hours a day and just try not to pick anything heavy up, which is hard considering I hav a two year old lol, at 19 I should be able to run around and feel fine but the back pain puts a damper on things. Try the heating pad, it helps alot(:
Nope, I've been getting chiro care or a while now, couple years. If you've never had it before your body can be sore after but its just because they are adjusting things that have been out of place so its not too uncommon for there to be some muscle discomfort after. But its temporary and its worth it if you do get it. Not everyone feels sore after, I didn't the first time but then a couple years later I started treatment again and I was sore that time. Working for a chiropractor I can't tell you how many first time patients were sore the day after and decided not to come back, but really they should have kept up with their treatment plan, its soo worth it! And as far at.the treatment goes it never hurts me, sometimes when I'm getting my midback adjusted its ummm I guess you could say its awkward..only because my back is so tight. So it feels like its not going to "pop" but its never painful. I love neck adjustments too. I get really bad headaches and most people don't realize the.cause of their headaches start with their c spine in their neck. Sorry the post is so long. Haha
does the treatment hurt? :(
Haha its been a total life saver for me! Low back pain (sciatica) neck pain, and probably the best was My upper back pain because of my ribs. And they are used to treating pregnant women. It's safe and they use a pregnancy pillow to do adjustments if your belly is too big.
sweet I will! I was actually looking at my medicaid book the other day to see what all medicaid covered, but I got distracted lol
I have it too, and it causes my ribs to slip out of place and makes it hard to breathe ( feels like chest pain by the way) but I see my chiropractor for it and its amazing! I could not have gone thru this pregnancy withought it. I don't know what ins you have but medicaid covers chiro care in my state untill the age of 21. I used to work for my.chiropractor and we had a lot of medicaid patients. I would def check into it!
